Conference Service / Sales Manager
The Conference Services / Sales Manager is responsible for world-class management and coordination of assigned short and long term group business as well as Social / Event business. As a Sales / Service Manager he/she must be able to answer client inquiries for group/social business, and through completion of the event or function, while maintaining profitable operations and high quality products and service levels. He/She is expected to establish a relationship of trust with the client where they can be the main resource once the contract has been turned definite. He/She must act as liaison between client and operating departments to ensure a successful meeting and to generate repeat business.
At least 4 years of progressive experience in an upscale, downtown hotel; and a 4-year college degree, or a 2-year college degree and 4 or more years of related hotel management experience. High School Diploma required
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the property and guest rooms of the hotel are maintained in the best possible condition, with the least inconvenience to guests. The Engineer is expected to perform routine maintenance and mechanical repair duties, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers and carpentry.
